WELCOMING CAUSE AND FX TO THE SHOW ME SHORTS WHANAU
It’s with great excitement that we announce our partnership with Cause and FX - one of New Zealand’s premiere VFX studios. Cause and FX have come on board with sponsorship for Show Me Shorts 2023, by sponsoring our Best International Film Award.
Cause and FX represents some of the best VFX artists working in New Zealand (and indeed the world!). They’ve recently completed work on Amazon Prime’s ‘The Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power’ series, as well as numerous other world class productions. Their international reputation and pedigree make them a great fit to come on board and sponsor our Academy Award qualifying Best International Short Film Award.
The winner of the award will receive $2,000 cash, eligibility for entry to the Oscars®, a copy of Final Draft writing software, an engraved bronze winners badge and a certificate.
We can’t wait to work with the Cause and FX team to celebrate and support the next generation of filmmaking talent around the world.
