SPECIAL THE SAMPLER SCREENINGS

One of the great things about putting on Show Me Shorts is that we’re able to screen local films for local audiences. We have two very special screenings coming up that showcase incredible talent, and can’t wait to hear what local audiences have to say.

The Sampler - Dunedin

As part of the Rialto programme on 30 October at 7.00pm, we’re proud to be screening ‘The Finding,’ directed by Rebecca Tansley. The film was nominated for best cinematography, and you’ll see why - it’s absolutely gorgeously shot in 16mm. You can read more about the film below.

The Sampler - New Plymouth

As part of the Len Lye Centre programme on 27 October at 7.30pm, we’re proud to be screening ‘Hand in Hand,’ directed by Shelley Waddams. It features a stunning performance by New Plymouth actor Sadie Earl. You can read more about the film below. The Thursday night screening sold out so a special encore screening has been scheduled for Saturday 29 October at 11:30 am.
